Nathaniel was born on November 11, 1908, in Punta Gorda, FL the second child to Mack & Illinois Gollman. Nathaniel retired as a hospital orderly in Punta Gorda. He had a jazz band called “Nat and the Florida Stompers”, he played the drums and piano. They played on the chitlin circuit and one of their stops was the Gollman Ballroom in Punta Gorda were many famous acts played. Nathaniel was also a fisherman and a crabber. Nathaniel married Lillian Arline of Punta Gorda, FL on 9 Feb 1934. Nathaniel passed on 26 Mar 1989 at the age of 80 years old and was buried at the Lt. Carl Bailey Cemetery in Cleveland, FL.
